Our Instructors complete a comprehensive training process that involves learning over 300 different moves, how to sequence a routine for safety and efficiency and how to give you the best and most affective 50 minute muscle-quivering workout. As part of their training, instructors teach weeks of mock classes to ensure they are ready to bring you the best workout in town.
Our founder, Kate, trained for a year in New York City under several master trainers, and now brings that expertise to GPBB. Not only will our instructors push you mentally and physically, they will always have your safety and goals in mind.
Having learned and taught the Megaformer™ method throughout New York City for over 2 years, Kate is thrilled to bring this dynamic and all-encompassing workout to her hometown. In addition, to a strenuous 7 month training process to become SLT (Strengthen, Lengthen, and Tone) certified, she is also an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and has her CPR/AED certification.
During the SLT training process, Kate worked with five Master Trainers to learn over 150 moves as well as technique and sequencing. Kate taught group, private, and semi private classes in SLT Studios in the Upper East and West Sides, Chelsea, Soho and Brooklyn New York.
Kate is a graduate of University Liggett School and the University of Notre Dame.
Jen is a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Trainer. She has been teaching group fitness for fifteen years; everything from yoga to step and cycling. Additionally, eight years of working at a Step Down ICU has given her a a strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology. She is passionate about providing a safe and super effective workout!
Alice graduated from The University of Florida and moved to Detroit to work as an engineer for Jeep. A long time client turned trainer, she thinks GPBB never gets easier you just get stronger and we couldn’t agree more! Alice is so excited to push you to your beyond your mental and physical limits, and she loves to see those shakes!
A long time competitive swimmer and coach, Ali found Body Burn when she relocated back to her hometown this year. She immediately fell in love with the shakes and how the workout pushed her both body and mind. Ali brings a high attention to detail, high energy and command from her years of coaching and a big smile. Look for Ali on the schedule on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, probably joined by at least one of her 3 athlete sisters.
